Green juice with coconut water

INGREDIENTS:

– 1 cup (tea) of soy juice
– 1 cup (tea) of cold coconut water
– 2 ripped cabbage leaves
– 1 large chopped apple
– ½ tablespoon of grated ginger

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

1. In the blender glass, place the soy juice, coconut water, cabbage leaves, apple and ginger, and beat for 2 minutes, or until smooth.
2. Transfer to two tall glasses and serve next.

Ice cream bonbon with coconut oil

INGREDIENTS:
For Vanilla ice cream:
2 and 1/2 cups of fresh milk (pasteurized) or cream;
1 can of condensed milk;
2 tablespoons of vanilla extract.

For the Chocolate syrup:
2 and 1/2 cups of dark chocolate;
1/2 cup of coconut oil.

METHOD OF PREPARATION:
Vanilla ice cream:
Whip the whipped cream. Then add the condensed milk and vanilla extract and whisk again to mix everything. Pour the mixture into a 30 x 30 cm pan lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil, smoothing it out to make it as straight as possible. Place in the freezer until the ice cream completely freezes.

Chocolate syrup:
Melt the chocolate with the coconut oil and set aside to bathe the ice cream cubes.

TIP: Prepare the syrup when the ice cream is already frozen.

Assembly:
With the frozen ice cream, cut several cubes about 2 centimeters long.
Return the ice cream to the freezer for about 30 minutes or until it freezes again. Bathe the cubes, one by one, in the chocolate syrup and let it dry in a form with parchment paper. TIP: Do this gradually, with a little bit of ice cream each time to prevent it from melting. Keep the chocolates in the freezer before serving.

Coconut milk by Andreia Friques

Yes, COCO is a SUPER FOOD and soooo delicious!

The big problem is that most of the INDUSTRIALIZED versions (grated coconut, coconut milk, etc.) are full of preservatives!

Are we going with natural coconut in our recipes? I’ll teach you how to prepare at home, using fresh fruit !! See the step by step:

1. Grate the dried coconut and divide it into small portions (place in a suction bag) and freeze in the freezer to use for up to 2 months.

2. Beat 1 small dry coconut, grated with 500ml of warm water, strain and you will have a natural coconut milk to use in recipes and preparations (can be frozen in jars for up to 3 months).

3. Place a dough in the sieve on a non-stick baking sheet and a tower in the medium oven, for about 30 minutes (stir from time to time), making a “coconut flour”.

Coconut flour is functional and can replace others like wheat in recipes for cakes, pies and pancakes!
