Yes, COCO is a SUPER FOOD and soooo delicious!
The big problem is that most of the INDUSTRIALIZED versions (grated coconut, coconut milk, etc.) are full of preservatives!
Are we going with natural coconut in our recipes? I’ll teach you how to prepare at home, using fresh fruit !! See the step by step:
1. Grate the dried coconut and divide it into small portions (place in a suction bag) and freeze in the freezer to use for up to 2 months.
2. Beat 1 small dry coconut, grated with 500ml of warm water, strain and you will have a natural coconut milk to use in recipes and preparations (can be frozen in jars for up to 3 months).
3. Place a dough in the sieve on a non-stick baking sheet and a tower in the medium oven, for about 30 minutes (stir from time to time), making a “coconut flour”.
Coconut flour is functional and can replace others like wheat in recipes for cakes, pies and pancakes!
Do you have a running routine and end up using the industrialized in the press? Set aside a weekend and leave everything ready to use in the coming months !! With a little organization and a lot of will, you offer more health and life to feed your family!

ATTENTION: Vegetable drinks like “coconut milk” are not a substitute for breast milk or infant formula for infants! This information posts reference to the use of vegetable drinks in recipes and preparations for older children and family members, with the aim of replacing industrialization with natural.
